Age Privacy Notice

Effective January 1st, 2027, LakeOS will not be available for release to residents of California, Illinois, Colorado, and New York. AB 1043, SB3977, SB 26-203, and S5529 are legislations that impacts software distribution regulations in the states. It requires us OS devs to collect and send age information to all apps who request it, which is a huge violation of privacy. Because of this, we REFUSE to comply with AB 1043, SB 3977, SB 26-203, and S5529, and therefore will not release it to California, Illinois, Colorado, and New York residents.
