LakeOS is designed to be simple, fast, and respectful of user privacy. We collect no personal data.
LakeOS does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no telemetry, no device identifiers.
Some local configuration files may be created to save your settings, but these stay on your device.
LakeOS uses components from other open-source projects. Their privacy policies may apply:
LakeOS does not contact external servers by default. Network activity only occurs when installing software, updating packages, or accessing online services.
LakeOS does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including minors.
This policy may be updated as LakeOS evolves. Continued use means acceptance of any changes.
